In the 5th minute Marquinhos Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Geraerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thys Geraerts had great luck who in the 8thth minute grab hold of the ball when Alonzo Peruxu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 27 played minutes Dynamo Marx got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Sielens. Qu Hong Liang shot from long distance in the 27th minute, but Thys Geraerts was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Alan Creemers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Thys Geraerts made a huge save. Alan Creemers's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thys Geraerts firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ronald Theys hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Alonzo Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thys Geraerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Racing Matinette's goal looked a bit too open when Glen Imbreghts came free, but Casper Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Marquinhos Munhoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thys Geraerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 58 minutes into the game, Tommi Van Caels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dynamo Marx's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Matinette the free kick. After 58 played minutes Dynamo Marx got a freekick which was hit by Tommi Van Caels. Tommas Verhaghe's late challenge caught a Racing Matinette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommas Verhaghe helped the player get up and apologised. Tommas Verhaghe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Racing Matinette got a corner. Dynamo Marx's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qu Hong Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marquinhos Munhoz made a great header on Racing Matinette's corner, it was just that Dynamo Marx's Thys Geraerts managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Musseeuw got free with Casper Jans in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 72 minutes, Alonzo Peruxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Matinette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Peruxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Dynamo Marx's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Creemers came free, but Thys Geraerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boris Musseeuw got free with Casper Jans in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Munhoz in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thys Geraerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thys Geraerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Munhoz in the 84th minute of the match. Dynamo Marx's Thys Geraerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Munhoz in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Theys in the 87th minute of play forced Racing Matinette's goalkeeper Casper Jans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Marx's Tommas Verhaghe got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Dynamo Marx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommas Verhaghe to maneuver through the defense. Racing Matinette walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
