FC Schnauzers's Laurence Geeraerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Fabry in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Siebe Naets cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ruben Wilza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Siebe Naets's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Wilza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Gwenn Vounckx charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwenn Vounckx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gwenn Vounckx hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Fabry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Laurence Geeraerts made a huge save. After 24 played minutes, FC Schnauzers's Raf Van de Schrieck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruben Wilza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Schnauzers reached it. In the 25thth minute of the game Siebe Naets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avelgem ad. Schelde's Ruben Wilza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Levi Mertens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ruben Wilza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Schnauzers's Laurence Geeraerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbe Stroobans in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Schnauzers's Laurence Geeraerts got control of the ball when Robbe Stroobans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeroen Maenhout received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laurence Geeraerts came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeroen Maenhout slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute, Renaut Baecke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robbe Stroobans to make the kick off. Laurence Geeraerts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbe Stroobans in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Ruben Wilza got control of the ball when Levi Mertens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurence Geeraerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Maenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siebe Naets who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Ruben Wilza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Avelgem ad. Schelde's Ruben Wilza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilles Waron in the 66th minute of play. The Avelgem ad. Schelde fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Avelgem ad. Schelde's Ferdinand Fabry looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ferdinand Fabry took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laurence Geeraerts. Laurence Geeraerts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Avelgem ad. Schelde's attack was well implemented in the 75th minute, but when Ferdinand Fabry was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Renaut Baecke hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Ruben Wilza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raf Van de Schrieck. In the 85th match minute, Avelgem ad. Schelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerom Van De Velden to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Wilza was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Raf Van de Schrieck. A collision led to FC Schnauzers getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Achilles Waron hit a great ball. After 87 played minutes FC Schnauzers got a freekick which was hit by Achilles Waron. After 89 minutes of play, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Felix Allaert made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laurence Geeraerts was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, Avelgem ad. Schelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedict Peeters to maneuver through the defense. Laurence Geeraerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Allaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Avelgem ad. Schelde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
