Cederik Raes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gallo Crisis's Jilian Verhaghen got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, Gallo Crisis's Cederik Raes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ewout De Meulder was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ewout De Meulder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cederik Raes went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Gallo Crisis fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Gallo Crisis's Cederik Raes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute Cederik Raes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout De Meulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Gallo Crisis's Cederik Raes made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cederik Raes in the 44th minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Ewout De Meulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jilian Verhaghen came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Gallo Crisis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jilian Verhaghen couldn't finish the play.

If Cederik Raes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, Cederik Raes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Cederik Raes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ewout De Meulder. The goal made the score 0-6. Brain Van de Schrieck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cederik Raes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ewout De Meulder was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Ewout De Meulder came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Gallo Crisis's Cederik Raes. But to his dismay, Cederik Raes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. It was a well-played corner which Jilian Verhaghen managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some careless play in the Club Brugge defense, Cederik Raes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewout De Meulder. The Club Brugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewout De Meulder should have stopped the shot. When Thibaud Mathy fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Brugge's protests and gave Thibaud Mathy a yellow card for diving instead. Thibaud Mathy kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Cederik Raes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ewout De Meulder having to make a save. Club Brugge's Ewout De Meulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brain Van de Schrieck in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cederik Raes in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ewout De Meulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jilian Verhaghen struck a weak shot in the 86th minute.
