Ciudad-Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Christofere Wils came free, but Ray Van Gorp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Club Brugge's Ewout De Meulder got control of the ball when Bavo Landewijck tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christofere Wils's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray Van Gorp was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Christofere Wils received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ray Van Gorp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Brugge.
