Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Christofere Wils kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaud Mathy in the 9th minute of play forced Winksele 2016's goalkeeper Ben Dillemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute Thibaud Mathy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Dillemans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Quirin Brauer came free, but Ewout De Meulder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quirin Brauer scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ewout De Meulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Bihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes of play, Winksele 2016's Arnauld Van Eycke made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ewout De Meulder was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arnauld Van Eycke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Matias De Cat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winksele 2016's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias De Cat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ewout De Meulder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Quirin Brauer came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Winksele 2016 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quirin Brauer couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Club Brugge defense, Arnauld Van Eycke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewout De Meulder. The Club Brugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewout De Meulder should have stopped the shot. After the first half Winksele 2016 were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The Winksele 2016 fans' excitement grew in the 50th match minute when Winksele 2016's Arnauld Van Eycke looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quirin Brauer scored 0-8 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ewout De Meulder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Winksele 2016's Matias De Cat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ewout De Meulder. Ewout De Meulder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Ewout De Meulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias De Cat, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Arnauld Van Eycke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias De Cat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewout De Meulder having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Quirin Brauer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Ewout De Meulder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Brugge's Ewout De Meulder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnauld Van Eycke in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Matias De Cat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewout De Meulder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Moises Bihar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.
