Spectators: 8509 (Terracing: 6382, Seating: 1957, VIP seats: 170) Wils FC's Edwin Koppen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Gallo Crisis getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck hit a great ball. After 4 played minutes Gallo Crisis got a freekick which was hit by Jilian Verhaghen. Pipo Orihuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Koppen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Wils FC's Andreas Frans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 6th minute of play. Pipo Orihuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald De Messemaeckre in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Harald De Messemaeckre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wils FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pipo Orihuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Pluijssens in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Gallo Crisis's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Van Dijck came free, but Pipo Orihuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenz Van Deijck in the 19th minute of play forced Gallo Crisis's goalkeeper Pipo Orihuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lorenz Van Deijck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pipo Orihuela. Gallo Crisis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lorenz Van Deijck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Andreas Frans was a little too slow when Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Andreas Frans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pipo Orihuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Edwin Koppen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pipo Orihuela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After the first half Wils FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Andreas Frans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 played minutes Wils FC got a freekick which was hit by Geoffrey Cappels. Claus Van Dijck took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pipo Orihuela. Pipo Orihuela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 59th minute, Etienne Van Achteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 60th minute of play forced Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipo Orihuela was a little too slow when Harald De Messemaeckre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-5. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pipo Orihuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald De Messemaeckre in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Edwin Koppen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pipo Orihuela. Gallo Crisis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edwin Koppen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald De Messemaeckre got free with Pipo Orihuela in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Wils FC's zone, Brain Van de Schrieck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andreas Frans came out of the goal and Brain Van de Schrieck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Gallo Crisis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wils FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
