Jos De Clercq charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jos De Clercq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oliver Roockeloes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Timothy Van Poucke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Christofere Wils shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rocky De Putter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Club Brugge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris-George Verdonk to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes KFC Warnetosn got a freekick which was hit by Rik Van Meel. Oliver Roockeloes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rocky De Putter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After 24 played minutes KFC Warnetosn got a freekick which was hit by Rik Van Meel. In the 27thth minute of the game Christofere Wils who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KFC Warnetosn's Rocky De Putter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rik Van Meel hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, Christofere Wils cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rocky De Putter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ewout De Meulder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richey Wuijts in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Timothy Van Poucke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ewout De Meulder. Club Brugge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Van Poucke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

Richey Wuijts spun around in front of the goal 51 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club Brugge's goal. Oliver Roockeloes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Christofere Wils recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rocky De Putter. Christofere Wils showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Christofere Wils blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rocky De Putter having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Rocky De Putter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Richey Wuijts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ewout De Meulder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ewout De Meulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richey Wuijts, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Thibaud Mathy hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Rocky De Putter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christofere Wils, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ewout De Meulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richey Wuijts, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, KFC Warnetosn's goal looked a bit too open when Christofere Wils came free, but Rocky De Putter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Brugge booed when KFC Warnetosn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Van Meel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rocky De Putter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 94 minutes into the match, KFC Warnetosn's goalkeeper Rocky De Putter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oliver Roockeloes. The Club Brugge players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
