Gabriel Ladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octaaf Nijs in the 3rd minute of play. Lixandro Palenciano hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Lixandro Palenciano kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Gabriel Ladio never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Rutten to maneuver through the defense. Matthy Verduijn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the game, Octaaf Nijs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gabriel Ladio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bavo Landewijck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Ray Van Gorp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliazar Ungia went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Kfc Moerbeke-Waas defense, Bavo Landewijck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ladio. The Kfc Moerbeke-Waas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ladio should have stopped the shot. When Ventzislav Shebov fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's protests and gave Ventzislav Shebov a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Ventzislav Shebov got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Ewout Loremans fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's protests and gave Ewout Loremans a yellow card for diving instead. Ewout Loremans hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fermín Durango could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ladio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermín Durango in the 30th minute of play forced Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's goalkeeper Gabriel Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Douglas Douglas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kfc Moerbeke-Waas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 50th minute, Matthy Verduijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 51 played minutes Kfc Moerbeke-Waas got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Douglas. In the 54th match minute, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthy Verduijn to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Ray Van Gorp got control of the ball when Douglas Douglas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 59 played minutes Kfc Moerbeke-Waas got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Indartsu. Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Nils Schol was substituted for Octaaf Nijs. Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's Anton Van de Leest was substituted for Bavo Landewijck. The supporters of Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda booed when Kfc Moerbeke-Waas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Matthy Verduijn came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthy Verduijn couldn't finish the play. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Gabriel Ladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Van de Leest in the 67th minute of play. Real F.C. Ciudad-Ganda's goalkeeper Ray Van Gorp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryan De Maerschalck. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
