Ewout De Meulder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliazar Ungia in the 15th minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Eliazar Ungia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Kfc Moerbeke-Waas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Helge Vallengren hit a great ball. Ewout De Meulder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliazar Ungia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Rutten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewout De Meulder having to interfere. Ewout De Meulder was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliazar Ungia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 38 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Leopold Teurfs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ewout De Meulder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliazar Ungia, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Eliazar Ungia made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliazar Ungia in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Brugge's goalkeeper Ewout De Meulder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match Kfc Moerbeke-Waas got a corner. Club Brugge's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andy Neeskens ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Kfc Moerbeke-Waas getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliazar Ungia in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ewout De Meulder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert De Wulf's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gabriel Ladio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 69 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Thibaud Mathy. After 74 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Christofere Wils. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Christofere Wils got a free kick in the 75th minute. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's Gabriel Ladio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kfc Moerbeke-Waas from getting a goal against them. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kfc Moerbeke-Waas! Gabriel Ladio had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Hans Dauwe's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Gilbert De Wulf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ladio. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert De Wulf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. 98 minutes into the game, Eliazar Ungia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Ewout De Meulder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kfc Moerbeke-Waas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
