The Sporting Club Anderlecht fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geoffry Spoelbergh should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Pulix in the 63rd minute of play forced Sporting Club Anderlecht's goalkeeper Geoffry Spoelbergh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geoffry Spoelbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilian Hombroeckx in the 65th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AUcimont's Steven Pulix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geoffry Spoelbergh. That made the score 0-10 after 82 minutes of play. In the 85th minute, Guilian Hombroeckx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geoffry Spoelbergh. The goal made the score 0-11. In the 91st minute, AUcimont's Guilian Hombroeckx ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geoffry Spoelbergh. Geoffry Spoelbergh yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-12. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club Anderlecht's zone, Willem-Jan Baboeuf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geoffry Spoelbergh came out of the goal and Willem-Jan Baboeuf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over AUcimont could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Club Anderlecht throughout the match.
