Spectators: 8406 (Terracing: 6305, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barry Van Bever started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charl de Koninck to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Zdzislaw Pilsudski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Herald Wouqier. Zdzislaw Pilsudski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Herald Wouqier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Van Bever in the 7th minute of play. Loui Volens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthy Reniers in the 10th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Henk Wouters put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Loui Volens. Geetsvondel²'s Henk Wouters got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benne Marichal kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to De Beverpatrouille getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Zdzislaw Pilsudski hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes De Beverpatrouille got a freekick which was hit by Faruk Kaan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Wouters in the 29th minute of play forced De Beverpatrouille's goalkeeper Loui Volens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Jochen Van den Wyngaert made a precise shot to the right of Loui Volens. De Beverpatrouille's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Geetsvondel² were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henk Wouters stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barry Van Bever kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Loui Volens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Van den Wyngaert in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Henri-Xavier Geeraerts got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Barry Van Bever ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herald Wouqier was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Herald Wouqier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henri-Xavier Geeraerts went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, De Beverpatrouille's Henri-Xavier Geeraerts got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Charl de Koninck got a free kick in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Van Bever in the 71st minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Matthy Reniers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Loui Volens, 3-4. After a rather tough play, Geetsvondel²'s Jochen Van den Wyngaert got a free kick in the 87th minute. Herald Wouqier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faruk Kaan went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-4 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, De Beverpatrouille's goal looked a bit too open when Benne Marichal came free, but Loui Volens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jochen Van den Wyngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
