With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luke Boegaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Eddy Laporte sped through Stakendijk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luke Boegaerts. Eddy Laporte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Boegaerts having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luke Boegaerts. Stakendijk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddy Laporte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddy Laporte in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luke Boegaerts saved Stakendijk from getting behind. Tristan Gevaert hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half KFC Vliegplein were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thibaud Goorts was the one to do the kick off. The KFC Vliegplein fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ferdinand Weijnants really showed his touch with that goal: 0-10. If Eddy Laporte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Clijsters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Sutens in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Eddy Laporte who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stakendijk's Luke Boegaerts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute, Miguel Clijsters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luke Boegaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Eddy Laporte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luke Boegaerts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Weijnants notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Stakendijk's Luke Boegaerts. Luke Boegaerts was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stakendijk's Luke Boegaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Laporte in the 90th minute of play. If Tristan Gevaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
