But to his dismay, Wes Lieckens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Georg Gustavsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Sebastian Theuniers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wes Lieckens was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. La masia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maximino Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pau Torres in the 24th minute of the match. FC Beerput's Sebastian Theuniers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Lieckens in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Georg Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Theuniers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Theuniers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Georg Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Theuniers having to interfere. Maximino Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Uytterhaegen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. La masia's Youri Horemans quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luukas Beullens, made in the 41st minute of the game. Sebastian Theuniers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Georg Gustavsson in the 42nd minute. In the 46th minute, Jan-Pieter Haelemans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luukas Beullens, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The supporters of FC Beerput booed when La masia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bill Hofnagels didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georg Gustavsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Georg Gustavsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sebastian Theuniers was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Antony Lofton didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Gustavsson in the 90th minute of play forced FC Beerput's goalkeeper Sebastian Theuniers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the La masia defense, Maksymilian Solecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Cesario. The La masia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Cesario should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Pau Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Cesario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Maximino Cesario throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pau Torres in the 95thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. FC Beerput were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after La masia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luukas Beullens took the corner. FC Beerput's Luukas Beullens was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Cesario in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
