Spectators: 8501 (Terracing: 6377, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eddy Laporte kicked off to start the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eddy Laporte sped through Rapid Mollem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guillaume Schepens. Guillaume Schepens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddy Laporte in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid Mollem's goalkeeper Guillaume Schepens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillaume Schepens was left in no man's land by his defense there! 18 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rapid Mollem's Guillaume Schepens. Guillaume Schepens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eddy Laporte in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Schepens saved Rapid Mollem from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Reinaert Vischkens made a precise shot to the right of Guillaume Schepens. Rapid Mollem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Miguel Clijsters hit a great ball. Rapid Mollem's Guillaume Schepens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddy Laporte in the 29th minute of play. Klaus Bossuyt hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When Patrik De Martelaere fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rapid Mollem's protests and gave Patrik De Martelaere a yellow card for diving instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when KFC Vliegplein's Eddy Laporte in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Guillaume Schepens was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rapid Mollem through an amazing save. In the 33rd minute of the match KFC Vliegplein got a corner. Rapid Mollem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Endel Darmer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on KFC Vliegplein's corner Endel Darmer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guillaume Schepens quite easily take care of the ball. Teo De Jonge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Van Eyken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Eddy Laporte dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guillaume Schepens, 6-0. Ferdinand Weijnants's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillaume Schepens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Rapid Mollem's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Guillaume Schepens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remy Van Eyken made a kick off. After 54th play minutes Eddy Laporte shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Guillaume Schepens and just under the crossbar into goal. Paul-Louis Jannes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rapid Mollem booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthy Algoedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 played minutes, KFC Vliegplein's Octaaf Bosmans shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillaume Schepens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KFC Vliegplein reached it. Guillaume Schepens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddy Laporte's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eddy Laporte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Guillaume Schepens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Weijnants in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillaume Schepens saved Rapid Mollem from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eddy Laporte in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guillaume Schepens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KFC Vliegplein's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Endel Darmer in the 73rd minute. Guillaume Schepens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Laporte, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Eddy Laporte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rapid Mollem defense, Ferdinand Weijnants kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guillaume Schepens. The Rapid Mollem fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guillaume Schepens should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Rapid Mollem booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Laporte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 87th minute of play forced Rapid Mollem's goalkeeper Guillaume Schepens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillaume Schepens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddy Laporte's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Guillaume Schepens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KFC Vliegplein's Ferdinand Weijnants shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 10-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 94 minutes into the match, Ferdinand Weijnants notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Rapid Mollem's Guillaume Schepens. Guillaume Schepens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rapid Mollem's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
