Lennert Hombroeckx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregory Sens having to make a save. In the 13th minute Ahmet Asım Semih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Urbez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, FC TurQu AsTaLyA's goal looked a bit too open when Lennert Hombroeckx came free, but Gregory Sens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC TurQu AsTaLyA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sapitos's Eleuterio Urbez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Sapitos from getting a goal against them. The FC TurQu AsTaLyA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sapitos's performance. The match ended with a win for Sapitos.
