Bruno Cortens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Xavier Algoedt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute of the match Scorpions United got a corner. Breendonk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abay Şikel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bruno Cortens's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xavier Algoedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Breendonk's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fransesco Fossaert's late challenge caught a Scorpions United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fransesco Fossaert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Fransesco Fossaert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute 陈帆响 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Algoedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breendonk's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Scorpions United had won, even though Breendonk had held more of the ball.
