An unexpectedly hard shot by Artuur Langhmans in the 36th minute of play forced Breendonk's goalkeeper Xavier Algoedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolga Koytak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel De Deygere in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Fc Korea got a freekick which was hit by Tommas Van Steen. The Breendonk fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Breendonk's Abel De Deygere looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Abel De Deygere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolga Koytak was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel De Deygere couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Breendonk were the better team. Breendonk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
