Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thomas-Jan Wuyts made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquin Ramon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold De Meyer having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Jordy Heers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xhoris and the Gourgues FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Xhoris got a freekick which was hit by Jordy Heers. If Thomas-Jan Wuyts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold De Meyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gust Swiggers in the 7th minute. After 7 played minutes Gourgues FC got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Van Riel. Robbin Laureijs's late challenge caught a Xhoris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robbin Laureijs helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, one of Gourgues FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gourgues FC. The goalkeeper, Harold De Meyer, was totally fooled by Xhoris's Gust Swiggers, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gust Swiggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold De Meyer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zapryan Vasov in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harold De Meyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gourgues FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Samuel Roosendael scored to the left of an out of position Harold De Meyer, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Xhoris booed when Gourgues FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Hendrickx didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Ramon in the 26th minute of play forced Gourgues FC's goalkeeper Harold De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas-Jan Wuyts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Richard Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gust Swiggers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold De Meyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Gourgues FC's goalkeeper Harold De Meyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Roosendael. In the 41st minute, Zapryan Vasov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Harold De Meyer. The goal made the score 5-0. After 44 played minutes Gourgues FC got a freekick which was hit by Kobe Laporte. In the 45th minute, Xhoris's Joaquin Ramon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harold De Meyer. Harold De Meyer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
The wind increased when Gust Swiggers made the kick off in the second half. Harold De Meyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ramon in the 50th minute of the match. Harold De Meyer came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Xhoris's Zapryan Vasov. But to his dismay, Zapryan Vasov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 55th minute Samuel Roosendael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harold De Meyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gust Swiggers in the 59th minute of play forced Gourgues FC's goalkeeper Harold De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Zapryan Vasov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harold De Meyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Harold De Meyer came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Xhoris's Joaquin Ramon. But to his dismay, Joaquin Ramon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Harold De Meyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zapryan Vasov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Xhoris's goal looked a bit too open when Kobe Laporte came free, but Richard Billberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Gourgues FC defense, Joaquin Ramon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Harold De Meyer. The Gourgues FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harold De Meyer should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Ramon in the 79th minute of play forced Gourgues FC's goalkeeper Harold De Meyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Xhoris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Cyrille N'Diaye to maneuver through the defense. Gourgues FC's Harold De Meyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Heers in the 89th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Gourgues FC's Richard Billberg threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kobe Laporte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kobe Laporte made a great header on Gourgues FC's corner, it was just that Xhoris's Richard Billberg managed to reach the ball for a save. After 94 minutes of play, Xhoris's Gust Swiggers made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harold De Meyer was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Xhoris had played much better football throughout.
