Gabriele Koffidis hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Het Koffiehuis defense, Pieter-Jan Buelens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jiang Kun Liang. The Het Koffiehuis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jiang Kun Liang should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 11th minute of play forced FC Margi's goalkeeper Tommas De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Margi booed when Het Koffiehuis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ritchie Schepmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, Golo Oolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jiang Kun Liang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilliam Deckers in the 19th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Golo Oolo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommas De Vleeschauwere. The goal made the score 1-1. Tommas De Vleeschauwere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golo Oolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 29th minute of play forced FC Margi's goalkeeper Tommas De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Rodolfo Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes, Ief Winnepennincks mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Margi and the Het Koffiehuis players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute Golo Oolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommas De Vleeschauwere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommas De Vleeschauwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Golo Oolo in the 35th minute of the match. Gabriele Koffidis had several of the FC Margi's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Tommas De Vleeschauwere as he didn't even see the shot coming. 40 minutes into the match, FC Margi's goalkeeper Tommas De Vleeschauwere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Koffidis. Ritchie Schepmans charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ritchie Schepmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Het Koffiehuis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ritchie Schepmans to maneuver through the defense. Jiang Kun Liang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter-Jan Buelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well done corner resulted in Rodolfo Meira drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind Het Koffiehuis's goalkeeper. After 46 played minutes FC Margi got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Meira. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dito da Cunha made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Pieter-Jan Buelens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jiang Kun Liang. That made the score 2-3 in the 51 minute of play. FC Margi's Tommas De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Oolo in the 56th minute of play. In the 61st minute, FC Margi's Dito da Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Het Koffiehuis made a substitution. Tobias Bitxintxo replaced Walter Samuels. Tommas De Vleeschauwere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Oolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Meira in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Margi's Erwin-Alexander Weygaerts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jiang Kun Liang. That made the score 2-5 after 73 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Kang in the 86th minute of play forced FC Margi's goalkeeper Tommas De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Gilliam Deckers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Kun Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Het Koffiehuis's Ritchie Schepmans got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tao Rong kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A collision led to Het Koffiehuis getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Lee Kang hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Fred Smidts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommas De Vleeschauwere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Margi played a much better game than Het Koffiehuis and deserved their victory. The Het Koffiehuis players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
