Spectators: 8449 (Terracing: 6338, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolf Huveneers started the match with the kick off. Lionel Van Den Broek made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Dyllen Van Elsen sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Geert Smidts got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 8th minute of play forced Breendonk's goalkeeper Xavier Algoedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Binjamin Tilens's late challenge caught a De Keikoppers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Binjamin Tilens helped the player get up and apologised. Binjamin Tilens kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Rolf Huveneers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 18 minutes into the match, Breendonk's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Huveneers came free, but Xavier Algoedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sem De Kelper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cederique Rutgeerts in the 21st minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Lionel Van Den Broek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Breendonk got a corner. De Keikoppers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthy Decaluwe ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Matthy Decaluwe got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lionel Van Den Broek quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Breendonk's zone, Geert Smidts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Algoedt came out of the goal and Geert Smidts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rolf Huveneers sped through Breendonk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xavier Algoedt. Xavier Algoedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geert Smidts, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 played minutes Breendonk got a freekick which was hit by Jannic Bekaert. Xavier Algoedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Eijkens in the 35th minute of play. Xavier Algoedt came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers. But to his dismay, Rolf Huveneers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Breendonk's Xavier Algoedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Lionel Van Den Broek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Breendonk's goalie prevented a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dyllen Van Elsen to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavier Algoedt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolf Huveneers in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Breendonk's goalkeeper Xavier Algoedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Huveneers. After 60 minutes, Fransesco Fossaert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breendonk and the De Keikoppers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sem De Kelper received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xavier Algoedt came out and tried to block the shot, but Sem De Kelper slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 63rd minute. Xavier Algoedt was a little too slow when Rolf Huveneers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolf Huveneers got free with Xavier Algoedt in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 69 minutes, Sem De Kelper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Keikoppers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sem De Kelper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolf Huveneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Xavier Algoedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. De Keikoppers's Rolf Huveneers came free and shot a quick shot against goal 73 minutes in the game, fortunately Xavier Algoedt had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Rolf Huveneers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xavier Algoedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Sem De Kelper's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xavier Algoedt firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fransesco Fossaert hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Breendonk's goalkeeper Xavier Algoedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolf Huveneers. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Huveneers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xavier Algoedt. That made the score 0-5 in the 79 minute of play. Rolf Huveneers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Xavier Algoedt made a huge save. Binjamin Tilens kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Breendonk's Xavier Algoedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Breendonk from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute of the match, Rolf Huveneers got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xavier Algoedt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle sounded De Keikoppers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Breendonk.
