The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Richard Billberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jerry Wollans hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gust Swiggers in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferrante Perregaux saved Fc Korea from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Gust Swiggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferrante Perregaux was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. With 19 minutes on the clock, Karol Wojtyla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 19th minute, one of Fc Korea:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Korea. Gust Swiggers placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Wouter Vandevyver took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Billberg. Richard Billberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 27th minute, Samuel Roosendael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xhoris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Ferrante Perregaux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gust Swiggers in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Fc Korea getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wouter Vandevyver hit a great ball. Xhoris's Richard Billberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Xhoris from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Wouter Vandevyver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Korea's supporters rose to their feet, but Wouter Vandevyver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Billberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Xhoris's zone, Wouter Vandevyver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Billberg came out of the goal and Wouter Vandevyver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc Korea's Ferrante Perregaux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Roosendael in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gust Swiggers made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Fc Korea got a freekick which was hit by Wouter Vandevyver. Abraham Valckeneers's late challenge caught a Xhoris's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Valckeneers helped the player get up and apologised. Tuure Jamieson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ferrante Perregaux didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xhoris. Gust Swiggers came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ferrante Perregaux could save by the left post. In the 70th match minute, Xhoris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerry Wollans to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match, Tuure Jamieson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferrante Perregaux saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wouter Vandevyver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Billberg having to interfere. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Korea's goalkeeper Ferrante Perregaux, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tuure Jamiesons short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Ferrante Perregaux to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 79th match minute, Fc Korea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Roulin to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes in the game, Tuure Jamieson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ferrante Perregaux having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, Xhoris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrez Isebergh to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Dávid Trezeguet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wouter Vandevyver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Richard Billberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrante Perregaux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuure Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 99th minute Xhoris were awarded a corner.
