Waud De Geyter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loid De Keuster. Waud De Geyter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Conincx in the 16th minute of the match. Freddy Tilens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Carberry in the 19th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Axel Davus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Rogério Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silver Squad AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rogério Paiva hit a great ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Davus, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half KFC Paal-Tervant were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Benjamin Carberry made the kick off in the second half. Denis Conincx succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 51st playminute. Freddy Tilens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Van Caubergen in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 55th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Paiva was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rogério Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot 71 in the game by Axel Davus from a close distance when the talented Waud De Geyter managed to make a qualified save. Silver Squad AFC's players were relieved. Axel Davus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Waud De Geyter made a huge save. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Squad AFC from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Silver Squad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Waud De Geyter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Damazy Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Tilens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Frans Van Caubergen came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Silver Squad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Van Caubergen couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute, Frans Van Caubergen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter got control of the ball when Denis Conincx tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 88 played minutes KFC Paal-Tervant got a freekick which was hit by Aime Bernage. In the 90th minute, Shaun McLae fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Davus in the 90th minute of play forced Silver Squad AFC's goalkeeper Waud De Geyter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KFC Paal-Tervant's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
