In the 39th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Huijghens to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Tilens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Godefroid showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 42 minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Godefroid came free, but Freddy Tilens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freddy Tilens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantijn Kingsgaard in the 51st minute of the match. Freddy Tilens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantijn Kingsgaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, Edgard Godefroid kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Tilens. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Tilens should have stopped the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Fre Windelinckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Achterheide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Paal-Tervant the free kick. Freddy Tilens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geert-Jan Geraerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, KFC Paal-Tervant's William Huijghens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erk Noffke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Klemens Huffschmid hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Huijghens got free with Erk Noffke in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Achterheide's Jonas Örnberg was substituted for Laurence Roekeloos. In the 86th match minute, KFC Paal-Tervant was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemens Huffschmid to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, KFC Paal-Tervant's Yücel Yamaç seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Yücel Yamaç the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KFC Paal-Tervant protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Yücel Yamaç had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 88th minute, Yücel Yamaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Paal-Tervant's zone, Jonas Örnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Tilens came out of the goal and Jonas Örnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantijn Kingsgaard in the 90th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Tilens came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Achterheide's Constantijn Kingsgaard. But to his dismay, Constantijn Kingsgaard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4.
