Spectators: 9185 (Terracing: 6890, Seating: 2112, VIP seats: 183) Oihan De Toro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oihan De Toro in the 8th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Ludo Vanden Bossche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willem-Jan Hollanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdi Mehmet Rakim's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ludo Vanden Bossche was a little too slow when Oihan De Toro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19thth minute of the game Abdi Mehmet Rakim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Jan Grootjans in the 20th minute of play. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save The Everett Hawks from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Tim Vranken dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ludo Vanden Bossche, 2-0. 28 minutes in the game, Oihan De Toro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to The Everett Hawks getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Fre van Eijnde hit a great ball. If Philippe-Arnaud Heremans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tim Vranken fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Bistouquettes Bleues's protests and gave Tim Vranken a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Everett Hawks booed when Les Bistouquettes Bleues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Vranken didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Les Bistouquettes Bleues got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Creemers. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Arsene Van Hamme replaced Geert-Jan Tuytgans. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdi Mehmet Rakim was the one to do the kick off. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oihan De Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludo Vanden Bossche came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Oihan De Toro. But to his dismay, Oihan De Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Philip Goorts charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Goorts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes The Everett Hawks got a freekick which was hit by Philip Goorts. Willem-Jan Hollanders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Mehmet Rakim in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Philippe-Arnaud Heremans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Willem-Jan Hollanders was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willem-Jan Hollanders was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Gregory Algoedt was substituted for Tim Vranken. The Everett Hawks's Ludo Vanden Bossche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oihan De Toro in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Laureano Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludo Vanden Bossche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Algoedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Imral Kurniawan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Everett Hawks's Andy Van Aghten was substituted for Philip Goorts. After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Imral Kurniawan got a free kick in the 80th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fre van Eijnde in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oihan De Toro in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludo Vanden Bossche saved The Everett Hawks from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Abdi Mehmet Rakim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Oihan De Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the The Everett Hawks players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Les Bistouquettes Bleues.
