In the 5th match minute, Blue Beast was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaetan De Beer to maneuver through the defense. Robertinho Carabajal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Robertinho Carabajal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Huijgens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Antonio Cempeners shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute Blue Beast were awarded a corner. Tjorven Caspers went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Antonio Cempeners got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulises Steven quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Beast's goalie prevented a goal. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Cempeners in the 26th minute of the match. Ulises Steven made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Joey Verdun sent off a good shot on target. If Robertinho Carabajal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AFC Koolkerke booed when Blue Beast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaetan De Beer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Carabajal came free, but Eddy Huijgens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robertinho Carabajal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joey Verdun made a kick off. Gaetan De Beer made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's Tang Di Nan. Robertinho Carabajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddy Huijgens having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 61st minute of play forced Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 63rd minute of play. Robertinho Carabajal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Huijgens having to interfere. Eddy Huijgens made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Robertinho Carabajal sent off a good shot on target. AFC Koolkerke's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tang Di Nan in the 74th minute. A nice corner shot did that Joseph Smits got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eddy Huijgens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Eddy Huijgens didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Robertinho Carabajal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Eddy Huijgens made a huge save. Eddy Huijgens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robertinho Carabajal. When Brain Van den Sande fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue Beast's protests and gave Brain Van den Sande a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Blue Beast's Brain Van den Sande got a free kick in the 87th minute. Blue Beast's Eddy Huijgens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Beast from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semi Acartürk in the 93rd minute of play forced Blue Beast's goalkeeper Eddy Huijgens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes Blue Beast's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tang Di Nan who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AFC Koolkerke's Tang Di Nan to fire away a dangerous shot which Eddy Huijgens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Blue Beast supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC Koolkerke's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC Koolkerke.
