Emilio Cimino was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Dreigoten's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Roger De Rijck hit a great ball. Kuido Undusk came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by SK Dreigoten's Michael Wirinckx. But to his dismay, Michael Wirinckx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hermelando Coello's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christoffel Portmans firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kuido Undusk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Wirinckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Hendrickx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Christoffel Portmans made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Gendre came free, but Christoffel Portmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffel Portmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Gustaaf Gendre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christoffel Portmans saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Gendre in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermelando Coello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Hendrickx in the 40th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Christoffel Portmans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christoffel Portmans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Gendre in the 42nd minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Les Presidents FC got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Hendrickx. Kuido Undusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderik Van den Berch in the 44th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Emilio Cimino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kuido Undusk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Les Presidents FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Dreigoten were winning 0-1.

SK Dreigoten were furious when Emilio Cimino was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SK Dreigoten! Quentin De Becker charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Les Presidents FC booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quentin De Becker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Gendre came free, but Christoffel Portmans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Gustaaf Gendre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Portmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffel Portmans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Gendre in the 69th minute of play. Gustaaf Gendre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffel Portmans having to interfere. In the 74th minute Hermelando Coello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffel Portmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Hermelando Coello notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans. Christoffel Portmans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 80 minutes, Ivan Terhorst mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Presidents FC and the SK Dreigoten players grew even worse after the yellow card. SK Dreigoten's Christoffel Portmans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermelando Coello in the 84th minute of play.
