KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Waut Du Molin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waut Du Molin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axell Verduin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dé 武松 in the 25th minute of play. KFC Cromvelde's Dé 武松 got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé 武松 in the 30th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axell Verduin was left in no man's land by his defense there!
