The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathijs Rokeloos was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Cirulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gong Ying Zheng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes VC zoetwater's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cosmin Contra who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Isidor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Mathijs Rokeloos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Cromvelde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathijs Rokeloos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gong Ying Zheng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mathijs Rokeloos might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gong Ying Zheng. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathijs Rokeloos ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the game, KFC Cromvelde's Mathijs Rokeloos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gong Ying Zheng made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. VC zoetwater made a substitution. Fabien Pardons replaced Gusztáv Bács. 77 minutes into the game, İbrahim Efe Akarsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Jean-Louis Van Bever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabien Pardons was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. VC zoetwater's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Akarsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Patrik Olsson notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever. Jean-Louis Van Bever was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matthias Wauters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Ying Zheng having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in VC zoetwater's zone, Mathijs Rokeloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gong Ying Zheng came out of the goal and Mathijs Rokeloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
