Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Sharkin in the 9th minute of the match. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Efe Akarsu in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 12th minute of play forced VC zoetwater's goalkeeper Gong Ying Zheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gusztáv Bács in the 16th minute of play. Gong Ying Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertinho Carabajal in the 17th minute of play. Joseph Smits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Sharkin in the 26th minute of play forced AFC Koolkerke's goalkeeper Ulises Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Steven came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by VC zoetwater's Bernardo Sharkin. But to his dismay, Bernardo Sharkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 28th minute Gusztáv Bács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Koolkerke's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gusztáv Bács was slow to take the kick. During this time VC zoetwater's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Patrik Olsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven did a great save. VC zoetwater's Gong Ying Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 38th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gong Ying Zheng was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ulises Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Sharkin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Tang Di Nan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Robert Wells kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph Smits got free with Gong Ying Zheng in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. VC zoetwater's Fabien Pardons was substituted for Gusztáv Bács. In the 74th minute AFC Koolkerke were awarded a corner. Tang Di Nan went to the cornerflag to take it. AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Steven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Sharkin in the 82nd minute of the match. Joseph Smits fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Ying Zheng having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Efe Akarsu came free, but Ulises Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes AFC Koolkerke got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Veloso. After 91 minutes, Dariusz Zembrzuski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the VC zoetwater and the AFC Koolkerke players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, VC zoetwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Zembrzuski to maneuver through the defense.
