Alfons Rijniers made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by North Hill United's Yao Zhou Jian. Roberto Cherro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Vorster having to interfere. Lajos Vadász took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suat Kaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Suat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vadász saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genk's Lenny Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Cherro in the 15th minute of play. North Hill United's Lajos Vadász played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Suat Kaya in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, North Hill United's Lenny Vorster threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roberto Cherro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Genk's Aron Trif managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diego Armando in the 26 minute of the game. In the 30th minute, North Hill United's Krzysztof Pawlak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lenny Vorster. Lenny Vorster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lajos Vadász showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vergil Rupov in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Suat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vadász saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Krzysztof Pawlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Vergil Rupov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genk's supporters rose to their feet, but Vergil Rupov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lajos Vadász breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roberto Cherro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, North Hill United's Roberto Cherro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenny Vorster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Lenny Vorster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Cherro in the 58th minute of the match. Genk's Lenny Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Pawlak in the 61st minute of play. North Hill United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Vergil Rupov scored to the left of an out of position Lajos Vadász, making the score, 2-1. Aron Trif got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alexander Klemensson. Thomas-Jan Van de Weijer hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Dawid Olejarz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the North Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Olejarz couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute of the game Gilian Gijselinx made a throw-in which Alexander Klemensson played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suat Kaya in the 78th minute of play forced North Hill United's goalkeeper Lajos Vadász to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lenny Vorster came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by North Hill United's Dawid Olejarz. But to his dismay, Dawid Olejarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Vergil Rupov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Genk defense, Dawid Olejarz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenny Vorster. The Genk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenny Vorster should have stopped the shot. Genk's Vergil Rupov got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lenny Vorster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Olejarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Suat Kaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
