After having played for 12 minutes, Sean Mallecots managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Invictus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Mallecots was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Mallecots's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Železný read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Invictus FC were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FCB team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafet Şikel took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Emmanuel Hylen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 27 minutes into the match, FCB team's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Mallecots came free, but Adrian Železný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Železný saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Invictus FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after FCB team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafet Şikel took the corner. 42 minutes into the game, Emanuel Lundgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adrian Železný was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrian Železný took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Mallecots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FCB team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Invictus FC were winning 0-1.

In the 57th minute of the game, Sean Mallecots landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Frans Vrankx charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frans Vrankx the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Invictus FC made a substitution. Lennart De Keyser replaced Sean Mallecots. In the 58th match minute, FCB team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Vrankx to maneuver through the defense. Lennart De Keyser might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Železný. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennart De Keyser ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart De Keyser in the 68th minute of play forced FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Železný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennart De Keyser in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Lennart De Keyser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Železný was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. FCB team made a substitution. Jasper Kerckmans replaced Benicio Artizar.
