Laurence Van Den Abeele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Laurence Van Den Abeele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Solari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Steve De Wilde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencer Korkutalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A hard shot 57 in the game by Pan Jian Yong from a close distance when the talented Laurence Van Den Abeele managed to make a qualified save. Apricis Bruxella's players were relieved. In the 59th minute Pablo Solari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Van Den Abeele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Apricis Bruxella defense, Rafli Leonard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laurence Van Den Abeele. The Apricis Bruxella fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laurence Van Den Abeele should have stopped the shot.
