Mauro Kotlar went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Robby Van Steen managed to volley towards the net. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Isaias Matas made the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Hendrickx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda was substituted for Isaias Matas. Selebi-Phikwe's Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers was substituted for Marc Thidén. The throw-in from Wincent Kanczuszewski in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Olavarria FC's Mauro Kotlar. In the 75th minute Johnathan Bowden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavarria FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
