Meša Sejfović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdenko Spalević in the 3rd minute of play. Nikola Primorac hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Zijo Pavlić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atif Arriagada went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Zdenko Spalević managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elpezi's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdenko Spalević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meša Sejfović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 9 played minutes Budozelje NK got a freekick which was hit by Đurđica Turković. If Dejan Divljak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Budozelje NK's Dejan Divljak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zijo Pavlić narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zdenko Spalević blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meša Sejfović having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Elpezi's Igor Jamina got a free kick in the 19th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Budozelje NK's goal looked a bit too open when Zdenko Spalević came free, but Meša Sejfović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Zijo Pavlić managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Budozelje NK's Atif Arriagada fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Martin Vahidović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Vahidović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Martin Vahidović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elpezi's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Vahidović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Meša Sejfović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Elpezi were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 minutes of play, Budozelje NK's Atif Arriagada made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zijo Pavlić was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Budozelje NK's Meša Sejfović got control of the ball when Martin Vahidović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Vahidović scored 2-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Meša Sejfović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Mahmud Pavlić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atif Arriagada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdenko Spalević was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Elpezi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nikola Primorac hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Atif Arriagada came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Budozelje NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Atif Arriagada couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zdenko Spalević during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the match, Budozelje NK's Said Todorović broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Budozelje NK booed when Elpezi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josip Veliborić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dejan Divljak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes in the game, Martin Vahidović fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Meša Sejfović having to interfere. When the match was over Elpezi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Budozelje NK throughout the match.
