The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mihran Hrkac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. In the 7th match minute, Miholjaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zahir Sejdić to maneuver through the defense. Kovači FC's Hélio Arruda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Kovači FC from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Mihran Hrkac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihran Hrkac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marinko Sakibović fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miholjaca's protests and gave Marinko Sakibović a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Miholjaca's Marinko Sakibović got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Miholjaca's zone, Mihran Hrkac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarek Cirković came out of the goal and Mihran Hrkac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boriša Škoro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tarek Cirković prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Boriša Škoro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kovači FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boriša Škoro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarek Cirković breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Boriša Škoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarek Cirković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarek Cirković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihran Hrkac in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihran Hrkac was the one to do the kick off. Boriša Škoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarek Cirković having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Vitomir Rača mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kovači FC and the Miholjaca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 92 played minutes Kovači FC got a freekick which was hit by Vitomir Rača. The Miholjaca fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kovači FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
