Boriša Lihovac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lokman Papić came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Kulici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lokman Papić couldn't finish the play. After 22 played minutes Dzerici got a freekick which was hit by Cine Ganibović. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lokman Papić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kulici's supporters rose to their feet, but Lokman Papić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Našidović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anton Primorac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boriša Lihovac in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Hišam Petrović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kulici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hišam Petrović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Dzerici's goal looked a bit too open when Lokman Papić came free, but Radomir Našidović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boriša Lihovac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Primorac having to interfere. Kulici's Anton Primorac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boriša Lihovac in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boriša Lihovac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Dzerici's goal looked a bit too open when Lokman Papić came free, but Radomir Našidović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Našidović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lokman Papić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Boriša Lihovac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dzerici's zone, Lokman Papić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radomir Našidović came out of the goal and Lokman Papić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lokman Papić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Radomir Našidović having to make a save. Lokman Papić kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of Kulici booed when Dzerici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlado Buljubašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Radomir Našidović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hišam Petrović in the 79th minute of play. Anton Primorac didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dzerici. After 85 played minutes, Kulici's Oliver Prodanović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Radomir Našidović came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kulici reached it. 90 minutes into the game, Boriša Lihovac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anton Primorac. Boriša Lihovac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ado Karanović during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dzerici booed when Kulici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ado Karanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Boriša Lihovac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Dzerici could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kulici throughout the match.
