The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Pack FC's Torben Holst got control of the ball when Simon Alt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Dominik Nowotny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Mangold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Warnblick. 20 minutes into the match, Simon Alt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torben Holst. Pack FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Alt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Dominik Nowotny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Dominik Nowotny ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sören Mangold was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pack FC's Torben Holst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemens Rocks in the 33rd minute of play. Leon Seelmann kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Seelmann. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominik Nowotny made a kick off. Dominik Nowotny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sören Mangold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Hofmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Sören Mangold made a huge save. After having played for 56 minutes, Sebastian Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pack FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Moser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dominik Nowotny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Warnblick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Elzner to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Warnblick's Sören Mangold got control of the ball when Sebastian Moser tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 66 played minutes Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Sven Kontny. Sebastian Moser might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Mangold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Moser ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71stth minute of the game Dominik Nowotny who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warnblick's Sören Mangold was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes Pack FC got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Kienast. Jonas Gäbelein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torben Holst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Sebastian Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pack FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Moser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Mangold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leon Seelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Simon Alt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torben Holst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torben Holst came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Warnblick's Clemens Rocks. But to his dismay, Clemens Rocks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Warnblick fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pack FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
