Alexander Rühl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sascha Reichert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Töplitsch's goalkeeper Ken Keidel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Rühl in the 30th minute of play forced Amassegg's goalkeeper Sascha Reichert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SV Töplitsch's Ken Keidel got control of the ball when Torsten Bär tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Torsten Bär managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amassegg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Bär was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SV Töplitsch's Alexander Rühl got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Amassegg's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Rühl came free, but Sascha Reichert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Famler was the one to do the kick off. Ken Keidel came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Amassegg's Torsten Bär. But to his dismay, Torsten Bär quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ken Keidel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Bär, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sascha Reichert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erich Abel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. Sascha Reichert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erich Abel in the 60th minute. After 64 played minutes Alexander Rühl rounded Amassegg's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Simon Römer kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Amassegg got a corner. SV Töplitsch's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kim Traintinger ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Amassegg's Kim Traintinger to fire away a dangerous shot which Ken Keidel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Torsten Bär sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torsten Bär had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Torsten Famler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Sascha Bettinger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amassegg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Töplitsch the free kick. Erich Abel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Sascha Reichert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Töplitsch. Amassegg's Torsten Bär got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torsten Bär might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ken Keidel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Bär ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
