Spectators: 7667 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden started the match with the kick off. Patrick Wiedemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Wollbrinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikes XI's Patrick Wiedemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Wollbrinck in the 9th minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Falterschein's Jonas Maletz tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Mikes XI's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Moser came free, but Patrick Wiedemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Falterschein's Andre Moser made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Wiedemann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Mikes XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolfgang-Bernd Heiden to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Mathias Wollbrinck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Mathias Wollbrinck notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mikes XI's Patrick Wiedemann. Patrick Wiedemann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mathias Wollbrinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Patrick Wiedemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mikes XI defense, Andre Moser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Wiedemann. The Mikes XI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Wiedemann should have stopped the shot. After the first half Falterschein were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Andre Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falterschein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Moser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Wollbrinck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Wiedemann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Andre Moser received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Wiedemann came out and tried to block the shot, but Andre Moser slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Andre Moser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernd Paroth kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Patrick Wiedemann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathias Wollbrinck went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Andre Moser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Wiedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Moser in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute Bernd Paroth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Jansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andre Moser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mathias Wollbrinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Wiedemann was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Andre Moser capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andre Moser really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Bernd Paroth's late challenge caught a Falterschein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernd Paroth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Mikes XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Paroth to maneuver through the defense.
