With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Grabowski in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jochen Klöck saved TRABZON F.C. from getting behind. Sharks FC's Timo Hirt got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the TRABZON F.C. defense, Ralf Grabowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jochen Klöck. The TRABZON F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jochen Klöck should have stopped the shot. Jochen Klöck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Fellner, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ralf Grabowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jochen Klöck having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ralf Grabowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jochen Klöck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Till-Julius Pietta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Frantzen went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Torsten Bannenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. TRABZON F.C.'s Jochen Klöck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save TRABZON F.C. from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Sascha-Andreas Lanier from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Jochen Klöck's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jochen Klöck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sharks FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
