Ralf Grabowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Martin Zeidler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Zeidler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralf Grabowski's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Reinhold Engberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till-Julius Pietta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralph Geiblinger during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, ASKÖ Neutal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Geiblinger to maneuver through the defense. When Timo Hirt fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sharks FC's protests and gave Timo Hirt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sharks FC's Timo Hirt got a free kick in the 19th minute. Martin Zeidler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Grabowski in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Michael Scherz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Till-Julius Pietta. Michael Scherz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Johannes Fellner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Zeidler having to interfere. The supporters of Sharks FC booed when ASKÖ Neutal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sönke Althaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Sharks FC's Ralf Grabowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Zeidler was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Scherz got free with Till-Julius Pietta in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Ralf Grabowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Zeidler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Reinhold Engberts made the kick off in the second half. Till-Julius Pietta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Scherz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralf Grabowski in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Zeidler saved ASKÖ Neutal from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Ralf Grabowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Zeidler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Sharks FC's Torsten Bannenberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Torsten Bannenberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sharks FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Torsten Bannenberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for ASKÖ Neutal. Kevin Vollmari stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Till-Julius Pietta. 5-2. If Ralf Grabowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Bernd Setzinger in the 93rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sharks FC's Timo Hirt. Till-Julius Pietta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Scherz in the 95th minute of play. Timo Hirt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ASKÖ Neutal were victorious despite being under pressure from Sharks FC for much of the match.
