Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bastian Schloss started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rolf Weigelt struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alex Jagusch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liedtberg FC. Liedtberg FC's Rolf Weigelt got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gregor Broich came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Liedtberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregor Broich couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes, Andreas Hanisch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liedtberg FC and the Mochling players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulrich-Jürgen Triebel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marco Schultheiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Liedtberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Schloss came free, but Marco Schultheiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Bastian Schloss dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Schultheiss, 1-0. Alex Jagusch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Broich, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Liedtberg FC's goalkeeper Marco Schultheiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Ausweger. Andreas Hanisch kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Mochling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich-Jürgen Triebel to maneuver through the defense. Ulrich-Jürgen Triebel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 39 minutes, Rolf Weigelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liedtberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Weigelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Mochling's Ulrich-Jürgen Triebel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Schultheiss. Marco Schultheiss yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregor Broich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alex Jagusch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Broich in the 51st minute of play. Marco Schultheiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bastian Schloss, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Ulrich-Jürgen Triebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liedtberg FC's Rolf Weigelt got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mochling's zone, Rolf Weigelt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Jagusch came out of the goal and Rolf Weigelt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bastian Schloss in the 75th minute of play forced Liedtberg FC's goalkeeper Marco Schultheiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th match minute, Liedtberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Hansen to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Broich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Jagusch having to interfere. Marco Schultheiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Schloss in the 90th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Rolf Weigelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mochling's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
