After a defensive mix-up in Brennitz's zone, Max Sitter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marko Meinl came out of the goal and Max Sitter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Max Sitter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wolfsrudel's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Sitter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Meinl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marko Meinl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Beyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Max Sitter managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Wolfsrudel's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Sitter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Meinl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dominik Beyer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dominik Beyer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Wolfsrudel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Beyer couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Max Sitter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marko Meinl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, FC Wolfsrudel's Dominik Beyer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marko Meinl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brennitz's goalkeeper Marko Meinl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dominik Beyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wolfsrudel's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
