Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timm Koch started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC XALKO's Joel-Benjamin Kellner got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Robin Küppers came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Armagedon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Küppers couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes, Justus Niehammer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Armagedon and the FC XALKO players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC XALKO booed when FC Armagedon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justus Niehammer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederik Strunk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Engelsmann having to interfere. If Frederik Strunk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Seidl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steffen Engelsmann having to make a save. Sascha Wirth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Küppers in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Armagedon's goalkeeper Steffen Engelsmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steffen Engelsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Strunk in the 49th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederik Strunk to strike the kick off in the second half. Sascha Wirth was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Timm Koch capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Timm Koch really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Steffen Frank kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sergio Seidl managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC XALKO's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Seidl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steffen Engelsmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Sergio Seidl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Engelsmann was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Peter Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Seidl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steffen Engelsmann having to make a save. Robin Küppers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sascha Wirth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timm Koch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sascha Wirth came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Armagedon's Robin Küppers. But to his dismay, Robin Küppers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Sergio Seidl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Küppers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steffen Engelsmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Seidl, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. FC XALKO's Sergio Seidl got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Steffen Engelsmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Strunk in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Armagedon eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
