A collision led to Hosing FSV getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jan-Peter Sponagl hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hosing FSV's zone, Axel Oster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yannic Born came out of the goal and Axel Oster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Axel Oster reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yannic Born. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marcel Könning managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hosing FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Könning was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Steffen Hörbelt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Axel Oster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Axel Oster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Schreiner struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Yannic Born didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loibichl FC. After a rather tough play, Loibichl FC's Sascha-Andreas Große got a free kick in the 35th minute. After 36 played minutes, Hosing FSV's Leo Ballik shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Steffen Hörbelt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hosing FSV reached it. Hosing FSV's Yannic Born proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Hosing FSV from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Christian Herrmann during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Hosing FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Loibichl FC. Dirk Schraier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yannic Born. 2-0. Axel Oster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Könning to make the kick off. The supporters of Hosing FSV booed when Loibichl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sascha-Andreas Große didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Patrik Schreiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hosing FSV's Yannic Born was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hosing FSV's Yannic Born played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Doual in the 76th minute of play. Marcel Könning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Hörbelt having to interfere. Axel Oster took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yannic Born. Yannic Born dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Loibichl FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hosing FSV had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
