It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ralf Abendroth kicked off to start the match. Tim Knebel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederik Kirchler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Tim Knebel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paal's Frederik Kirchler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Paal's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Jansch came free, but Frederik Kirchler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paal's zone, Dennis Jansch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederik Kirchler came out of the goal and Dennis Jansch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Fc Wien got a freekick which was hit by Marius Kalter. Fc Wien's Rafael Thoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Abendroth in the 19th minute of play. Rafael Thoma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Abendroth in the 20th minute of play. If Dennis Jansch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Jansch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Hans-Hermann Wassermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Hermann Wassermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederik Kirchler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Jansch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes of play, Fc Wien's Tim Knebel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederik Kirchler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis Jansch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Dennis Jansch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Knebel to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Konsel during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thomas Konsel kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Phillip Lindner hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Tim Knebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Kirchler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Hermann Wassermann in the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Hermann Wassermann in the 59th minute of play forced Paal's goalkeeper Frederik Kirchler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Holger Austerer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paal's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Austerer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Thoma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Holger Austerer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Jansch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Kirchler didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. After a rather tough play, Fc Wien's Hans-Hermann Wassermann got a free kick in the 79th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Wien fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Paal a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Patrick Muring, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Wien's Rafael Thoma. 1-3. Mike Funkel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Brian Vobis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Wien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Vobis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Dennis Jansch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Jansch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Kirchler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Paal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Wien were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
