Luca Weihs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Fc Wien getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hans-Hermann Wassermann hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Brian Vobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Demmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Huthreuter struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rafael Thoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schildorn. Fc Wien's Rafael Thoma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Wien from getting a goal against them. Henning Huthreuter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Rafael Thoma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Fc Wien got a freekick which was hit by Hans-Hermann Wassermann. When Tim Knebel came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Fc Wien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Knebel couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the game, Dirk Gross threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Wien's Phillip Lindner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 28th minute of the match, Henning Huthreuter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Thoma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute, Tim Knebel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tim Knebel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Schildorn's zone, Dennis Jansch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Demmel came out of the goal and Dennis Jansch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schildorn's goalkeeper Benjamin Demmel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henning Huthreuter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dennis Jansch was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Fc Wien's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 53 played minutes Schildorn got a freekick which was hit by Maurice  Ausweger. Benjamin Demmel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Marius Kalter sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Fc Wien booed when Schildorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Schwab didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Jansch in the 59th minute of play forced Schildorn's goalkeeper Benjamin Demmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans-Hermann Wassermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fc Wien's Rafael Thoma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henning Huthreuter in the 70th minute of play. Dennis Jansch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Benjamin Demmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tim Knebel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Schildorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Weihs to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Luca Weihs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Knebel scored 0-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Demmel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dennis Jansch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Schildorn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Wien were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
