In the 28th minute, Hans-Hermann Wassermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tim Knebel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Seifert having to interfere. Philipp Seifert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Jansch, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Jürgen Hasselberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Jansch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Seifert having to interfere. Phillip Lindner hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Jürgen Hasselberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASK Kottingbrunn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jürgen Hasselberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Wien fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The supporters of ASK Kottingbrunn booed when Fc Wien was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Hermann Wassermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Knebel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philipp Seifert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Philipp Seifert came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Wien's Tim Knebel. But to his dismay, Tim Knebel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 94 minutes into the match, Fc Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Hasselberg came free, but Rafael Thoma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ASK Kottingbrunn succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fc Wien had controlled the match.
