Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Achim Dollinger took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Hornesberg's Klaudius Brunmayr got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hornesberg's Daniel Loepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torben Ariesen in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Nicolai Pfeffer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOCCER Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolai Pfeffer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Nicolai Pfeffer took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daniel Loepp to make any attempt to save it. David Reichenbach hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Achim Dollinger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolai Pfeffer in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Loepp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Achim Dollinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cedric Lakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Hendrik Burghard during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Sven-Hendrik Burghard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torben Ariesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When SOCCER Team's Torben Ariesen in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hornesberg's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Torben Ariesen in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Loepp saved Hornesberg from getting behind. After 41 played minutes Hornesberg got a freekick which was hit by Harald Herzog. Kevin Schellenberger hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torben Ariesen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Torben Ariesen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Daniel Loepp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SOCCER Team's Cedric Lakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save SOCCER Team from getting a goal against them. Nicolai Pfeffer struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Daniel Loepp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOCCER Team. Nicolai Pfeffer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Daniel Loepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Achim Dollinger took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Cedric Lakos to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, SOCCER Team's Sven-Hendrik Burghard got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Klaudius Traintinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, SOCCER Team's Torben Ariesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Loepp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Loepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torben Ariesen in the 73rd minute of play. Torben Ariesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Klaudius Traintinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Lakos having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind SOCCER Team's goalkeeper Cedric Lakos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Torben Ariesen made a precise shot to the right of Daniel Loepp. Hornesberg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Torben Ariesen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Loepp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Torben Ariesen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolai Pfeffer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Loepp having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torben Ariesen in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Loepp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaudius Brunmayr kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Daniel Loepp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torben Ariesen's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SOCCER Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hornesberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
