Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan-Niclas Buchholz got the match started through his kick off. Stefan Bilstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justus Pürk in the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Slesinski during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Boris Slesinski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Justus Pürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Struga's Jan-Niclas Buchholz got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Niclas Buchholz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andi Appeltrath fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Struga's protests and gave Andi Appeltrath a yellow card for diving instead. Andi Appeltrath hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Justus Pürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Hornesberg's goal looked a bit too open when Maxi Breiter came free, but Daniel Loepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Niclas Buchholz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Daniel Loepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 51stth minute of the game Jan-Niclas Buchholz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornesberg's Daniel Loepp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urs-Peter Strobl's late challenge caught a Hornesberg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urs-Peter Strobl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Urs-Peter Strobl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Niclas Buchholz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Daniel Loepp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Struga. Maxi Breiter might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Loepp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxi Breiter ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Niclas Buchholz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Loepp came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Niclas Buchholz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. When Maxi Breiter came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Struga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxi Breiter couldn't finish the play. FC Struga were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
